Seleli ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Kaliua in der tansanischen Region Tabora.

Geografie

Seleli ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im westlichen Teil des zentralen Hochlands von Tansania, etwa 90 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich der Regionshauptstadt Tabora an der Grenze zur Region Shinyanga.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 21.643 Menschen in 3259 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 255 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Norden an den Distrikt Ushetu der Region Shinyanga und sonst an drei Bezirke des Distrikts Kaliua:[5]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Die Seleli Secondary School ist eine staatliche weiterführende Tagesschule mit einer Ausbildung bis zur 4. Stufe.[7]
  • Gesundheit: In den Gemeinden Seleli[8] und Nyasa[9] liegt je eine staatliche Apotheke.
