NGC 5846 ist eine elliptische Galaxie im Sternbild Jungfrau, die etwa 77 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt ist.
Das Objekt wurde am 24. Februar 1786 von William Herschel entdeckt.[4]
