Su economía se basa en la agricultura y ganadería,sumada a la Minería de Materiales de construcción
Su principal punto de interés es la Faringdon Folly Tower,una torre de 43 metros de altura construida en 1935 para uso ornamental y que ofrece grandes vistas al valle del Támesis [1]
