María Luisa Sobrino Manzanares Villanueva Correa,[2] nada en Vigo o 29 de xullo de 1943,[3] é unha historiadora da arte galega, especialista en arte galega contemporánea.[4] Reside en Santiago de Compostela.

Traxectoria

Doutorouse en 1973 coa tese Cuatro pintores gallegos contemporáneos: Carlos Maside, Manuel Colmeiro, Arturo Souto y Laxeiro, cualificada con sobresaínte cum laude.[5] Foi profesora na Facultade de Ciencias da Información da Universidade Complutense de Madrid e catedrática de arte contemporánea na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela,[2] onde dirixiu "Quintana", publicación do departamento de historia da arte.[6]

Sobrino foi membro do Instituto de Estudos Galegos Padre Sarmiento,[1] do Consello da Cultura Galega[7] e do padroado do Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea.[8]
