iPadOS 27とは、Appleが開発しているモバイルオペレーティングシステム、 iPadOSの8番目のメジャーリリースである 。開発者向けベータ版は発売当日の2026年6月9日(日本時間）に配信された[1]。

概要

2026年6月9日、WWDC 2026 基調演説で発表された[2]。パブリックベータ版は7月に提供予定である[1]。

新機能・変更点

Siri

iPadOS 26で追加されたApple IntelligenceとGoogle社のGeminiベースで構築されたApple Foundation Modelsと統合された新しい「Siri AI」が追加される。 これにより、新しい写真編集機能や、一部の端末において音声認識等の精度が向上する。しかしEUはDMAの影響でリリースが延期されることが決定した。また規制要件への対応が終了していないため中国でも使用できない[3]。Siri AIは2026年中に対応しているデバイスを英語に設定しているユーザーにベータ版として提供予定である[1]。

デザイン

iPadOS 26で実装されたLiquid Glassの透明度を調整が可能になるなど、可読性を上げる調整がされた[1]。

パフォーマンス

最適化されたCPUスケジューラやシステムの中核の改善などを行い公式によるとアプリの起動は最大30%、写真の読み込みが最大70%、Airdropによる転送が最大80%高速化されたとされている[4]。

共有アルバム

AndroidやWindowsユーザーであってもiCloud.comから簡単に共有アルバムへの参加や写真の投稿が可能となった。そしてフル解像度での共有がサポートされ、元の画質を維持したまま共有ができるようになった。その他にもフィルタリングやリアクション機能やアルバムへの招待などの新機能が追加された[1][4]。

対応機種

iPadOS 27は、Apple A12Zプロセッサ以降を搭載したデバイスのみに対応する為、iPad(第8世代)、iPad mini(第5世代)、iPad Air(第3世代)、11インチiPad Pro(第1世代)、12.9インチ iPad Pro(第3世代)のサポートは終了する予定である[4][5]。Apple IntelligenceはApple M1またはApple A17 Proプロセッサ以降を搭載するデバイスに対応する。
