KJSはKDEプロジェクトのJavaScriptエンジンである。Web上だけでなくKDE/Qtアプリケーションとバインディングしたり、アプリケーションを作成することもできる[1]。
AppleのウェブブラウザSafariのエンジンWebKitでKHTMLとともに採用されている。また、WebKitのJavaScriptCoreフレームワークはKJSを基にしている[2]。
