NGC 4598 (također poznat kao MCG 2-32-171, PGC 42427 i UGC 7829) je prečkasta spiralna galaksija koja je udaljena oko 90 miliona sg od Zemlje i nalazi se u sazviježđu Djevica. Najveći prečnik je 1,40 (37 hiljada sg) a najmanji 1,1 uglovnih minuta (29 hiljada sg).[b] Prvo otkriće je napravio John Frederick William Herschel 15. aprila 1784. godine.[2][4][5]
