Dirma ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Hanang in der tansanischen Region Manyara.

Geografie

Dirma ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im Norden von Tansania. Er liegt etwa 15 Kilometer südöstlich der Distrikthauptstadt Katesh.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 14.312 Menschen in 2612 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 237 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt an sieben Bezirke des Distrikts Hanang:[5]

Gliederung

Der Bezirk besteht aus drei Gemeinden (Swahili Mtaa) und elf Orten (Swahili Kitongoji):[6]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt eine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[7] Die Dirma Secondary School ist eine staatliche Schule mt einer Ausbildung bis zur 4. Stufe.[8]
  • Gesundheitseinrichtungen: In der Gemeinde Dirma liegen eine staatliche[9] und eine private[10] Ambulanz.
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 3375 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 153 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 1162 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 292 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[11]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 199 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, sind 82 Geschäftslokale, gehören 56 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 25 Warenlager, 24 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, 7 Gewerbebetriebe, 6 Bürogebäude und eines ist ein Gästehaus (Stand 2022).[12]
