Imboru ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Mbulu (TC) in der tansanischen Region Manyara.

Geografie

Imboru ist ein Stadtbezirk im Norden von Tansania. Er umfasst den westlichen Teil der Distrikthauptstadt Mbulu und die Vororte.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 8590 Menschen in 1863 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 25 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt an sieben Bezirke des Distrikts Mbulu (TC):[5]

Der Bezirk besteht aus zwölf Gemeinden (Swahili Mtaa):[6]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt keine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[7]
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 2180 Gebäuden im Bezirk haben 699 einen Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 328 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 994 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[8]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 138 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, sind 52 Bürogebäude, 39 Geschäftslokale, gehören 28 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 17 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, 10 Gästehäuser, 3 Lagerhäuser, 2 Gewerbebetriebe, 2 Hotels und eines ist eine industrielle Anlage (Stand 2022).[9]
