Masieda ist ein Verwaltungsbezirk (englisch Ward) des Distrikts Mbulu in der tansanischen Region Manyara.

Geografie

Masieda ist ein ländlicher Bezirk im Norden von Tansania. Er liegt rund 20 Kilometer Luftlinie nordwestlich der Distrikthauptstadt Mbulu.[2] Bei der Volkszählung 2022 lebten 7865 Menschen in 1387 Haushalten[3] auf einer Fläche von 260 Quadratkilometern.[4]

Der Bezirk grenzt im Nordwesten und im Nordosten an den Distrikt Karatu der Region Arusha, im Osten und Südosten an den Distrikt Mbulu (TC) und sonst an Bezirke des Distrikts Mbulu:[5]

Der Bezirk besteht aus drei Gemeinden (Swahili Mtaa) und 16 Orten (Swahili Kitongoji):[6]

Infrastruktur

  • Bildung: Es gibt keine weiterführende Schule im Bezirk.[7]
  • Gesundheitseinrichtungen: In der Gemeinde Masieda liegt eine privat geführte Ambulanz.[8]
  • Elektrizität, Wasser: Von den 1649 Gebäuden im Bezirk hat keines Stromanschluss von Tanesco, 349 beziehen Strom aus anderen Quellen wie Solarzellen und Generatoren. In 218 Gebäuden gibt es einen Wasseranschluss (Stand 2022).[9]
  • Gebäudenutzung: Von den 121 Gebäuden, die nicht für Wohnzwecke genutzt werden, sind 40 Geschäftslokale, 35 öffentliche Gebäude wie Schulen und Gesundheitseinrichtungen, gehören 24 religiösen Gemeinschaften, sind 8 Lagerhäuser, 8 Gewerbebetriebe und 6 Bürogebäude (Stand 2022).[10]
