Pray liegt im Gebirgstal Valle Séssera und ist Teil der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Comunità montana della Valle Séssera. Die Nachbargemeinden sind Caprile, Coggiola, Crevacuore, Curino, Portula und Trivero.
