For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) (omtalt som For Those About to Rock på omslaget) er det åttande studioalbumet til det australske hardrockbandet AC/DC. Det vart gitt ut 20. november 1981 i USA, 27. november 1981 i Storbritannia og 7. desember 1981 i Australia.[1]

Albumet er ein oppfølgjar til det svært vellykka albumet Back in Black. For Those About to Rock har selt over fire millionar eksemplar i USA. Det skulle bli det første og einaste albumet til AC/DC på førsteplass i USA fram til utgivinga av Black Ice i oktober 2008. I den opphavlege meldinga si frå 1981 erklærte magasinet Rolling Stone at det var deira beste album. I Australia nådde albumet ei topplassering som nr. 3 på Kent Music Report Albums Chart.[3]

Albumet, som vart spelt inn i Paris, var det tredje og siste samarbeidet deira med produsenten Robert John «Mutt» Lange. Albumet vart gitt ut på nytt i 2003 som ein del av serien AC/DC Remasters.

For Those About to Rock vart det første AC/DC-albumet nokosinne som nådde førsteplassen i USA på Billboard-lista og heldt seg på toppen i tre veker. Til dags dato har albumet selt fire millionar eksemplar i USA. I Storbritannia nådde dei to singlane til albumet, «Let's Get It Up» og «For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)», høvesvis 13. og 15. plassen. Albumet har selt om lag sju millionar eksemplar på verdsbasis, noko som gjer det til eit av dei mest selde AC/DC-albuma. Det markerer likevel ein stor nedgang i salet i USA, og selde berre 4 millionar i forhold til Back in Black, som selde over 25 millionar. I ein framsideartikkel i Rolling Stone i 2008 hylla David Fricke tittelsporet og noterte at det har ein «uvanleg stopp-start-effekt som fangar deg like hardt som den vanlege jernbanedrifta deira».
